Kurāmo'o is the Bird of the Year Cook Islands 2021

Yes voting has now ended, and we are pleased to announce te Manu o te Matai'ti, the Cook Islands Bird of the Year 2021 is the lovely Kurāmo'o (Aitutaki Nunbird/ Blue Lorikeet).

Coming second place is the 'I'oi (Rarotonga Starling) and third place goes to the Mōa Kirikiri (Pacific Fruit Bat). Well done to all of the campaign managers for helping run informative and fun campaigns, and a big meitaki ma'ata to all of you who voted.
